Our Company

Let’s Talk Kids (LTK) prides itself in being the largest Speech and Drama studio in Queensland. In 2023, LTK ran programs in 13 Brisbane based schools.

LTK classes are run by qualified Speech and Drama teachers who love primary aged children and love and understand the theatre. This year LTK has over 500 students enrolled.

The main focus of every class is to develop skills in the performing arts and therefore develop individual communication and presentational skills.

Our Staff

Kate is an award-winning vocalist, musical director and vocal coach. She has been the musical director and director for many productions – ‘Grease’ and Chicago to name a few. She is currently working as a musical director at a new theatre company BG performing arts. Kate is also a performer, and has had experience performing in over 50 shows, including 'Legally Blonde', 'Into the Woods', 'Chicago' to name a few. Kate has had the pleasure of touring with one of Australia's biggest Musical Theatre company's. Kate specialises in teaching primary and high school children in all areas of the performing arts.

Certificate IV (Musical Theatre) 

In 2021, Lily recieved her ATCL (Associate Diploma - Performing) from Trinity College London. Lily has recently moved to Brisbane from her hometown of Mackay to study her dream course, Bachelor of Fine Arts Drama at QUT. Lily has danced for fifteen years and in that time has completed her CSTD Jazz exams, Tapatak Oz exams, up to Level 2 of the Jason Winters contemporary exams, as well as up to Level 2 of her Dance Steps assistant teaching modules.

Associate Diploma (Performing)

Erin has been performing from a young age, having a background in acting, dance and singing. Originally from Wollongong, Erin moved to Brisbane in 2020 to begin full-time training and has since completed her Bachelor of Screen and Stage and Certificate IV in Musical Theatre. Erin has been involved in many local theatre productions both on stage and backstage, and also currently works as a dance teacher. Erin is passionate about instilling a love of the performing arts in the next generation and looks forward to working with the students at LTK.

B. Screen & Stage, Certificate IV (Musical Theatre)

Summer was born to be on the stage. Joining LTK when she was seven years old. After five successful year of LTK, she found a passion for singing and musical theatre, and was involved will – The Australian School of the Arts Program -ASTA. At only 18 years of age, Summer has already been involved in 17 productions. Some of these productions include Legally Blonde and Mumma Mia. Summer has also completed six years with Rockit Productions. Summer brings to the LTK team, youth and vitality. As an ex - LTK student herself, she enjoys watching and assisting the younger students find their passion.

Summer Lees

Abi is a passionate performer who enjoys exploring her talents as an actor and musician. She has achieved her Drama grade 7 trinity college qualification as well as experiencing success in eisteddfods, including winning the title of Brisbane’s open drama champion. She has participated in many musicals, the most notable being performing in The Little Mermaid as Flounder. Abi has sung backing vocals for Mirusia Louwerse as well as the rock band ‘The Angles’ on their recent tour of Australia. She is a talented singer and guitarist and is well known for regularly gigging locally. She is currently studying a Bachelor of fine arts degree majoring in Music at Queensland University of Technology.

Chloe is an experienced and committed actor, participating in several musicals such as Bring It On and playing Ursula, The Little Mermaid. She has also been apart of two movies, Swimming for Gold and Streamline. Chloe has excellent results as a performer in a variety of Eisteddfods and has had Speech and Drama vocal training for eight years. Chloe has achieved her level 8 Speech and Drama with Trinity. Chloe is studying at University of Queensland this year and is looking forward to assisting LTK students in discovering their passions for Speech and Drama.
